1. How does the Internet-based, HIPAA-compliant ASP server work?
Simply dictate into our Internet-based, secure digital ASP Dictation/Transcription server via any touch-tone telephone or cell phone, toll free, nationwide, 24/7/365. As soon as you complete your dictation, you’re issued a voice-prompted tracking number and your dictation is immediately available on our system for transcription. No special equipment is needed on your end.
2. How can I get my electronic digital files or tapes to you?
Digital files can be uploaded to our Internet-based, HIPAA compliant server, they can be sent to our FTP server or you can send them to us by mail. If you are mailing your media to us, we highly recommend that you use UPS or FedEx with a tracking number.
3. How are my reports, generated from electronic digital files or tapes, returned to me?
You can request to receive them via e-mail, retrieval from our secure FTP site, fax, or mail.
4. What’s your turnaround time?
The general required turnaround time for medical transcription is 24 hours but we do accommodate STAT and expedited services. Other types of transcription are turned around per client request. 24-hour turnaround time is based on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. EST to 5 p.m. EST and excludes weekends and holidays.
5. Do your employees and transcriptionists sign confidentiality agreements and HIPAA business agreements?
