Kate Meyers, President of Brown & Meyers, has been invited to sit on the board of the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce. After recently relocating Brown & Meyers to Scarborough from Portland, she is pleased to be able to assist board members and the community in any way she can. Portland, ME – Kate Meyers, President of Brown & Meyers, announced the acquisition of a new facility and impending relocation of the Brown & Meyers headquarters from Portland to Scarborough, Maine. This strategic move follows several years of steady growth in document management systems in response to business trends toward more efficient and cost effective methods for storing vital information.
The new office and warehouse facility enables Brown & Meyers to offer expanded offsite records storage services, provide a secure records review area for audits, expand onsite document scanning bureau, and provide confidential deposition and conference rooms . They will continue to deliver outstanding regional court reporting and nationwide digital transcription services.

Starting in 1994 with its roots in court reporting, Brown & Meyers has steadily expanded its services over the past 18 years to include medical and legal electronic transcription nationwide. In response to federal regulations requiring all medical records be converted to digital format by 2014, Brown & Meyers implemented a host of large scale scanning services to assist businesses with the transition to digital file management I 2008. In 2009, Brown & Meyers added secure document storage to their menu of services rounding out their information storage offerings.
Brown & Meyers anticipates the new headquarters to be fully operational by the end of September, 2012.
