BROWN & MEYERS, INC. ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF TYPEWRIGHTS, INC.

Portland, ME -- April 10, 2006 – Brown & Meyers, Inc., a leading national provider of medical transcription and court reporting services since 1997, located at 536 Washington Avenue in Portland, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Typewrights.  This transition will be effective April 17, 2006.  Typewrights is a legend in the medical and legal transcription marketplace, having been in business for 26 years. 

Kate Meyers-Coyne, President of Brown & Meyers says, “Typewrights has an excellent reputation and it is a great honor for us to acquire them.   We are very pleased to have these loyal Maine and New Hampshire customers joining our family, and plan to make this transition as quick and easy as possible for everyone."

In an effort to make the transition as seamless as possible, Patricia Burrows, the owner of Typewrights, along with Mrs. Meyers-Coyne, are working closely.
